El Máster de Investigación y Avances en Medicina Preventiva y Salud Pública y la Facultad de Medicina les invitan a la conferencia del Prof. Peter Pietschmann titulada: "Osteoimmunology: interactions between bone and the immune system", que será impartida el próximo jueves 1 de febrero, a las 16:30, en el Salón de Grados B de la Facultad de Medicina.

Sobre el ponente

Prof. Pietschmann has been trained as a Medical Specialist of Internal Medicine, Rheumatology and Pathophysiology. His primary research competence is in the field of osteoporosis and other bone diaseases with a special focus on osteoimmunology. Since 1999, he is the head of a research group which studies the biology and pathophysiology of bone by molecular, cellular and translational approaches in vivo and in vitro. Since 2006, he is deputy head of the Department of Pathophysiology and Allergy Research, and since 2007, he is the head of the Division of Cellular and Molecular Pathophysiology. He published more than 220 papers in peer reviewed international journals.
